How to let go

You don't need anything, the only thing you need is to let go.
Over the past few weeks, my body has been talking to me through pain, and I say talking because as I pay attention to what I’ve been feeling on a physical level, a lot of messages have come up.
When pain knocks on our door, it usually means we've been carrying around more than we need and all that extra baggage weighs us down. So from this knowing, I asked myself:
What do I need to let go of?
If you have read me before you know I talk a lot about our wholeness as human and spiritual beings. We are whole and complete; the thing is that there's so much preventing us from seeing our wholeness and the perfection in which things unfold in our lives.
All the responsibilities, ideas, and beliefs that don't serve us, but we insist on carrying are what stop us from believing in our wholeness. One of these beliefs is that we are not enough. In my case, I realized I was holding this idea that productivity was part of my worthiness. And I've been thinking...
Who am I if I let go of this idea?
So today I'm inviting you to question what it is you're carrying that is no longer serving you.
Now, if you feel heavy but don't know what is it you need to let go, or how to do it, there are a few things that have helped me, and that could help you too:
  • Meditation.
  • Breathwork.
  • To practice self-awareness.
  • To acknowledge the good in me.
  • To discern what qualities can help me release what doesn't serve me and focus all my attention on cultivating them. (I have done this through heart coherence meditation).
  • To ask for help when I have needed guidance.
The more you expand your consciousness, the easier it becomes to discern what you need to let go of. And the more you release, the more you see glimpses of your wholeness and greatness.
